FCBD® Style Foundations
New session coming soon!

Our first session was such a hit, that we are back to sling more hips for a second session! During these weekly classes, students are building a strong foundation in FCBD® Style while learning the shared movement vocabulary that makes synchronized group improvisation so special.
Our next Foundations session will begin in October and registration is now open! Come dance with us!

Join us throughout the weekend for multiple 30-minute performances celebrating FCBD® Style and Tamarind Tribal dance.
Catch us on the Market Square stage at 10:15 am and 1:30 pm for mischief and merriment!
NW Belly Dance Gala

Project HipSlingers is honored to be part of the opening act for the Northwest Belly Dance Gala, featuring internationally renowned dancer Zoe Jakes. Our opening performance celebrates the strength and diversity of Spokane's belly dance community as local troupes come together to share the stage.
Show begins at 6:45 PM.

Spokane Fall Folk Festival
November 15, 2026
Performance Time: 3:45 to 4:15 pm on the Bistro Stage
📍 SCC Student Lair • Spokane, Washington
Join us Sunday, November 15 as we take the Bistro Stage for an afternoon performance of FCBD®Style group improvisational belly dance. Come experience the connection, communication, and spontaneous magic that happens when dancers create together in the moment. The Spokane Fall Folk Festival is a free, two-day celebration of music, dance, and cultural traditions from throughout the Inland Northwest and beyond.

Nightmare on Yelm Street
October 16–18, 2026
📍 Nisqually Valley Moose Lodge • Yelm, Washington
Hosted annually by Dragon Vein Studios, Nightmare on Yelm Street has become one of the weekends we look forward to all year. Along with taking workshops and performing, it's a chance to reconnect with many of our favorite dancers from the west side of Washington and spend a weekend celebrating the community that makes this dance so special.
This year's event features workshops with Melody Orullian Bustillos and Moria Chappell, along with Moria's newest gala production, The Dark Fairy.
